Mr. Joseph Nathaniel Cook, of 802 Garfield Ave., died Sept. 27, 2005 in Obici Memorial Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Wilbur and Hazel White Cook. He was formerly employed by Webb’s Transfer Trucking company as a mechanic

He is survived by his wife, Gearldean Harvey Cook of Suffolk, one daughter, Nakeisha Cook of Washington, D.C., one son, Chory Whitley of Suffolk, five sisters, three brothers, nine grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A Funeral of Triumph will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday

Oct. 1 , 2005 at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Felton officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.
