Master Kuron Tyshay Boone and family would like to announce the wedding of Twianna Harper to Durron Leshia Boone.

Twianna Harper is the daughter of the late Sylvia Ann Harper, Carrie Dicks and Sylvester Dicks. She is employed by Portsmouth Public Schools as the lead attendance tech and court liaison. She is an active member of the East Suffolk Federated Civic League’s “Just Say No” program, as well as the scholastic coordinator for the Inner City Athletics Association.

Durron Boone is the son of Carol C. Boone and Alvin L. Ward, and the grandson of Henry Lassiter and the late Carolyn Boone. Durron is currently employed by the city of Chesapeake’s traffic engineering department. He is a coach for the ICAA, as well as the East Suffolk Federated Civic League’s softball program.

The couple will marry on Oct. 22, 2005. The ceremony and reception will be held at the Holland Community House.

The wedding party will include Hattie Jones, who will stand in for Sylvia Harper and Carrie Dicks as the mother of the bride; Carol C. Boone, mother of the groom; Chantel Madison, maid of honor; Angela Greene, bridesmaid; Jamekia Golden, junior bridesmaid; Darrell Jordan, best man; Ronald Goodman, groomsman; John E. Golden, junior groomsman; Shakina Golden, flower girl; Devonte Arrington, ring bearer; Nevis Hamlin, broom holder; Lavon Linton, soloist; James E. Golden, the bride’s escort; and

Dominique Madison and Ramel Almond, ushers.
