Mr. and Mrs. Dennis A. Cornwall, of Turlock, Calif., announce the engagement of their daughter, Valerie Anne Cornwall, to Mr. James Everett Darden Kincaid, son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Wexler Kincaid Jr., of Suffolk.

Miss Cornwall is a graduate of Colgate University and the American University School of Law. She is employed by Cellular Materials International in Charlottesville.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. Salvatore Robert Connor, of Santa Rosa, Calif., and the late Mr. Edward Cornwall.

Mr. Kincaid is a graduate of Woodberry Forest School and holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia. He will receive a master’s of business administration degree from

the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in May 2006. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Darden, of Suffolk, and Mrs. Douglas W. Kincaid and the late Mr. Kincaid, also of Suffolk.

A June 2006 wedding is planned at The Presidio in San Francisco.
