Police arrested a Suffolk woman they say fled an accident scene at Godwin Boulevard and Burnett’s Way around 4:50 p.m. Sunday.

Using information from the other driver involved in the accident, officers were able to track down Lisa Washlesky, 25, of the 200 block of Jefferies Court, said Lt. Debbie J. George, spokeswoman for the Suffolk Police Department. Details on the accident were not available.

Washlesky had her 4-year-old child in the car with her at the time of the accident, George said. Police also believe she was driving under the influence of alcohol or some other type of intoxicant, she said.
