Mrs. Patricia S. Windley, 64, of Lumberton, N.C. died Sunday afternoon, April 16, 2006 in Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Suffolk, Va., on December 15, 1941; a daughter of Elsie Ward Shotton and the late Howard Shotton.

Mrs. Windley was member of the Chestnut St. United Methodist Church where she was a former choir member, had taught vacation bible school and church Sunday school. She was office manager for Dr. Elizabeth Windley and Dr. W. C. Windley, Jr., and a graduate of Westhampton College – University of Richmond.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 22 from Chestnut Street UMC with the Rev. Jimmie R. Tatum officiating. Entombment will follow in the Gardens of Faith Mausoleum.

Surviving are her husband, Dr. W. C. Windley, Jr., of the home; a son. Dr. William C. Windley, III of Cary, N.C.; a daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Anne Windley of the home; and her mother, Elsie Ward Shotton of Suffolk.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 21 at Biggs Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. and at other times at the residence.
