Mr. & Mrs. Keith Smith announces the engagement of their daughter, Chanel, to Mr. William King, son of Mr. & Mrs. William King.

Chanel is attending Norfolk State University where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Her future plans include attending graduate school. William received an Associate degree in computer electronics and is currently employed at the Norfolk Naval Base as an IT Support Technician.

An August wedding is planned at East End Baptist Church, Suffolk. The couple will reside in Suffolk.
