Thelma Howell, 86, died at Sentara Obici Hospital on Aug. 29. A funeral will be held at Laurel Hill UCC Church, 8001 S. Quay Road, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2. Visitation will be Sept. 1 from 6-7 p.m. at Peeble Funeral Home, 1016 E. Washington St.
