WOODLAND – A Wednesday morning incident has police here on the lookout for a red Ford Expedition.

According to Woodland Police Chief Don Ryan, a vehicle drove up to a woman at the Red Apple Market in the town and an individual in the sport utility vehicle pointed a gun at a woman outside the store.

The victim fled the scene on a vehicle and was followed until she turned north on Highway 35. At that time the Expedition continued straight on U.S. 258 towards Murfreesboro.

“We are looking for a black male with a doo-rag and military jacket driving a fairly new red Expedition,” Chief Ryan said.

Ryan said the description referred to the driver of the vehicle, but stressed there were two others in the SUV.

Ryan said those in the vehicle were considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information should contact Ryan at 587-7161 or Northampton County Crimestoppers at 534-1110.
