Mr. and Mrs. Theron H. Bass Jr. announce the engagement of their daughter, Macy Elizabeth, to Jonathan Scott Fisher, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Lawrence Fisher Jr.

Mr. Fisher attended high school at the Phelps School in Malvern, Pa. Ms. Bass attended South Fork High School in Stuart, Fla. Both attended St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, N.C., earning degrees in business administration. Bass earned her Masters in Education from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C.

Fisher is employed by Prime Building Compan, Inc. as a superintendent. Bass is employed by the Wake County Public School System as a fourth-grade teacher. Both Jonathan and Macy are residents of Raleigh, N.C.

The wedding will take place on January 13, 2007, in Hobe Sound, Fla.
