Ruby Lee Whitney, 55, of the 700 block of Wrenn Road, Smithfield, went peacefully to her eternal home on Saturday, Nov. 4, in Sentara Obici Hospital.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at Mission of Deliverance Church of God in Christ by Overseer Pernell Luster. Interment will be in Booker T. Memorial Cemetery, Wakefield. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Saturday. Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling arrangements.
