Pearl Luter Clontz, 89, of Smithfield, Va. died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Parr Funeral Home and Crematory of Suffolk. A graveside service will be held at Historic St. Luke’s Church in Smithfield on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008 at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Will Montgomery officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be: Dr. Barney Jamison, Sonny Bloxom, O.A. Spady and Maynard Gwaltney. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Luke’s Church, 14477 Benn’s Church Blvd., Smithfield, VA 23430 or the Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
