I offer Linda Johnson my complete support and cooperation in this most important election for mayor of the City of Suffolk.
The people of Suffolk are fortunate to have elected Linda Johnson as a council member eight years ago. She has led Suffolk as the mayor for the last two of those years.
Her wise and honest leadership, her irreproachable integrity and her proven dedication to good government have helped make Suffolk a better place to live and work.
Mayor Johnson has earned the respect and gratitude of men and women throughout the City of Suffolk as a great leader in the fight for human decency and a better quality of life. She has promoted strong fiscal discipline, supported our public schools and created an open-door policy that insures transparency and accountability in City Hall.
If she is elected as mayor, her experience and humane outlook on the problems of our times, as well as her courage to do something about them, will ensure that Suffolk’s best days are still ahead.
