Paul P. King, age 75, of Deltaville, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, after a long battle with lung cancer.
He retired from Estes Express Lines after many years of service, and was an active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and past member of the Middlesex Lions Club.
Paige is survived by his daughter, Debbie K. Yates and husband, Robert; a son, William P. (Butch) King and wife, Sharen; brother, Louis G. King and wife, Betty, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four nieces and one nephew.
His many friends from the Point will remember his attendance at the Sunday services on the beach and the many happy hour gatherings at Clyde’s Place.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda. The family will receive guest at the Rivah House following the memorial service. The family will also receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
