Rural growth is eyed

The City of Suffolk Department of Planning and Community Development, in conjunction with the Suffolk Planning Commission and its Committee on Ordinances, will host two brainstorming sessions to solicit input from the public regarding rural subdivision development in the city’s agricultural and rural areas, including minor subdivisions and family transfer subdivisions.
The first session is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Robertson Elementary School Auditorium, 132 Robertson St.
The second session will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Holland Community House, 6837 Netherland Dr.
