Thelma McKoy, 86, of Portsmouth, passed away on Jan. 14, 2009. Thelma was the wife of the late Edgar O. McKoy.
She is survived by one daughter, Doris L. Folk, of Suffolk, two sons, Edgar Bristol McKoy (Marion), of Chesapeake, and Sidney McKoy (Patricia L.), of Columbus, Ga., two sisters, Geraldine Collins (Cleveland), and Willie H. Wright, both of Elizabethtown, N.C.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Brighton Rock A.M.E. Zion Church, Portsmouth. Corprew Funeral Home is in charge.
