Ruth Taylor, 76, of 101 N. 6th St. passed away on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009 at Sentara Obici Hospital. Ruth was born on Jan. 5, 1933 to the late Jessie Daughtry and Alberta Edwards Daughtry, in Suffolk, Va.
Ms. Taylor will be on view from noon to 6 p.m., and the family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home Wednesday, Feb. 4. A service of remembrance will take place at 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 5 at Faith Temple Ministries. Interment will immediately follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
