Brother Marvin Jerome Ricks Sr., entered into eternal rest on Feb. 10, 2009, at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, Va.
The family will receive friends at Crocker Funeral Home, 900 E. Washington St., Suffolk, VA 23434, on Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Beulah Lane A.M.E. Zion Church, 34122 Clayton Road, Sedley, Va. The family will assemble at Violet Ricks’ home, 14106 Melissa Drive, Smithfield, VA 23430 for the procession to the funeral. Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. is handling the arrangements.
