A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. William Trexler officiating. Inurnment will be held the same day at 2 p.m. at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, Va., with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Lutheran Church Building Fund at 1301 Colley Ave., Norfolk, VA 23517 or a charity of one’s choice.
