PDCCC offers summer classes

Although spring semester continues through May 4, registration for summer semester is now under way. Summer classes begin May 18.
Summer Semester Classes
You can make this summer count at PDCCC. Our summer semester schedule includes transfer courses for students enrolled in four-year colleges and universities who want to earn credits during their summer break; classes for students working toward a two-year degree or certificate at PDCCC; and options for personal enrichment or getting ahead in the workforce. Following are a few examples of the varied offerings that will be available.
Hobbs Suffolk Campus
College Composition I will be offered on Mondays, from 6 to 10:05 p.m. U.S. History I will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays, 8 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.
General College Physics I will meet May 18 through June 22, with lectures from 4:30 to 7:15 p.m. and lab from 7:15 to 10 p.m. General College Physics II will meet June 24 through July 29 with the same time frame, allowing students to complete the two, four-credit classes in ten weeks.
Introduction to Psychology I will be taught on Thursdays from 6 to 10:05 p.m.; Child Psychology will be taught on Wednesdays, from 6 to 10:05 p.m., and Public Speaking on Mondays from 6 to 10:05 p.m.
Franklin Campus
General Biology I will meet May 18 through June 22 from 6 to 10:05 p.m., with lectures on Mondays and Wednesdays and lab on Tuesdays and Thursdays. General Biology II will meet June 24 through July 29 with the same time frame, which allows students to complete the two, four-credit classes in 10 weeks.
Introduction to Psychology I will be taught on Tuesdays, from 6 to 10:05 p.m. Introduction to Sociology I will be taught on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 to 3 pm.
Online Offerings
Summer semester online options include General Biology I-II; Leadership Development; English Composition I-II; Human Resource Management; Principles of Macroeconomics; Principles of Microeconomics; Introduction to Cultural Geography; U.S. History I-II; International Marketing Management; Practical Reasoning; Basics of American Politics; Survey of the Old Testament; Beginning Spanish II; and many other classes.
