A 15-year-old student at King’s Fork Middle School was found to have a box-cutter in her bag at the school Monday evening.

The student, whom police did not identify, was not threatening anyone with the blade when it was found, according to Suffolk spokeswoman Debbie George.

No charges were filed against the girl, but she was suspended pending an administrative hearing, officials said.
