Construction work is expected to interfere with traffic on two busy Suffolk roads this week.
Nansemond Parkway and Holland Road will both experience lane closures for portions of the week, according to a city press release.
The Nansemond Parkway work will result in the southbound lane being closed from 9 a.m. to about 4 p.m. today and tomorrow near the road’s intersection with W. Falcon Street. Flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic.
Art-Ray Construction Corp. will close one eastbound lane of Holland Road near Manning Bridge Road to install storm water and utilities from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through Friday, according to city officials.
Through traffic will be shifted to the inside travel lane, and there will be access to Manning Bridge Road during the construction activity. One lane of Holland Road will remain open at all times.
