CARROLLTON, Va. – James Everett “Pop” Baldwin, 82, passed away at his home in Carrollton, Va., May 6, 2009, surrounded in love by his family after a long and brave battle with lung and heart disease.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May 8, 2009 at 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Memorial Park, Smithfield, Va., with the Rev. Russell Leonard officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m. at the residence, 15616 Carrollton Blvd. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 7 p.m. at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, 16053 Carrollton Blvd, Carrollton, Va., with the Rev. Barry Reel officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Carrollton Volunteer Fire Department at 15020 Carrollton Blvd., Carrollton, VA 23314.
