SUFFOLK — Patricia D. Pruden, 54, of 822 Dill Road, died June 3, 2009, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital after a short illness.
She was a native of Nansemond County, the daughter of the late George C. Bryant and Helen D. Bryant.
She was also predeceased by her husband, James Pruden.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Olds (Patrick), of Suffolk; four sons, Terrance Bryant (Michelle), of Suffolk, James K. Pruden, of Virginia Beach, Terry Pruden, of Suffolk and Bryant T. Pruden, of Suffolk; three sisters, Carolyn Alston, of Suffolk, Brenda Bryant, of Chesapeake and Sylvia Bryant, of Suffolk; one brother, Alvin L. Bryant Sr. (Cora), of Suffolk; 13 grandchildren; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held at noon Monday in New Life Church, Suffolk, with Pastor Michael Ola officiating.
Burial will follow in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
She will be taken to the church by 11 a.m. Monday. Family and friends will assemble at 202 Jouster Way, Suffolk.
