On Friday, June 5, 2009, God called home one of His strong soldiers that we all knew and loved, Arthur Lee King (Richard).
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2009 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 38070 Rocky Hock Road in Wakefield, officiated by the Rev. Leslie L. Holloway. Interment will be in Booker T. Memorial Cemetery in Wakefield. Viewing will be at the church from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2009. The family will be at 7485 Proctor Bridge Road, Ivor, Va., and will also assemble there at 1 p.m. Friday for the funeral. Crocker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
