PDCCC a good place to start college work

Students seeking a bachelor’s degree at a four-year college or university can save money by completing the first two years of general studies at a community college. Currently, tuition and total mandatory fees for a full academic year at community colleges in Virginia average $3,229 versus $7,984 at four-year state institutions of higher education.

Students enrolled in a two-year transfer degree program at any of the 23 community colleges in the Virginia Community College System also have a number of options available to them through a growing number of college-specific and statewide transfer and articulation agreements that guarantee admission to four-year colleges and universities under certain conditions.
