A Franklin man was killed in a single-vehicle accident early Saturday morning in the area of Wildwood Drive and Gates Road in Suffolk.

John K. Vann of Franklin died at the scene after his vehicle ran off the road, hit an embankment and rolled several times, ejecting him, according to Suffolk spokesperson Diana L. Klink.

The accident occurred at about 1 a.m.

Klink said Saturday afternoon that an investigation into the cause of the accident continues.
