Combs would manage to score again, this time from the center of the circle, at the 7:06 mark, putting her team ahead 2-0.

A late goal by Megan Johnson gave the Cavaliers a commanding 3-0 lead going into the second half.

During halftime the Lady Cavalier seniors were honored. This year’s squad features four seniors, Kristin Buck, Breanne Langston, Alyssa Chirico, and Morgan McCaw.

A goal from Taylor Young at the 22:34 point increased Lakeland’s lead to four to start the half.

The Lady Cavaliers would go on to score three more goals, two by Combs and another by Jennifer Hedrick, ultimately winning the game 7-0.

Lakeland (12-1, 7-0) has outscored district opponents 61-1 this season. Next up for the Lady Cavaliers is a district match at Hickory on Wednesday.
