In recognition of October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Suffolk News-Herald will feature a series of stories centering around the men and women who have fought this disease.

“We are so pleased to help honor those survivors who have fought and won the battle against breast cancer and remember those who fought valiantly,” Tim Reeves, editor of the Suffolk News-Herald, said. “This disease is something unfortunately that has affected or probably will affect nearly every family in our area. We look forward to hearing all the inspiring stories that are out there.”

The News-Herald will feature the stories and accounts of breast cancer survivors, or the accounts of family members who remember their loved one who passed away from the disease.
