Suffolk City School officials decided early Wednesday morning to close Nansemond River High School as crews work to repair a water line break.

The early morning line break in the school parking lot shut down water service and fire suppression to the building.

Administration officials have not decided on when – or if – to reschedule the Christmas concert planned for Wednesday night at the school.

Bethanne Bradshaw, the schools’ public information office, said school should resume Thursday morning.
