Man charged with home invasion

Suffolk Police arrested a 29-year-old Suffolk man Tuesday and charged him in connection with a weekend home invasion.

Travis Lamont Patillo, of the 2200 block of East Washington Street, was arrested Tuesday. He is charged with one count of breaking and entering with intent to commit robbery, three counts of armed robbery and three counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred Saturday around 9 p.m. In that incident, two people entered a residence in the 200 block of Pine Street and robbed three people at gun point. Less then $100 was taken in the robbery. No one was injured.

Patillo is being held without bond at Western Tidewater Regional Jail. Detective David Burke is the lead investigator.
