The city of Suffolk announced several additional snow closures Monday afternoon.

The East Suffolk Recreation Center will close at 6 p.m. Monday. All Parks and Recreation athletic events and practices — youth basketball, indoor soccer and cheerleading —have been canceled for Monday. The adult men’s flag football interest meeting has been rescheduled for next Monday, Feb. 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the athletics main office at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts.

The opening ceremony of the 2010 Suffolk Leadership Academy, scheduled for Tuesday evening, has been rescheduled to Monday, Feb. 8 at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers.
