On Thursday morning, a three-car accident closed Route 10 for approximately 30 minutes.

The accident took place at the intersection of Godwin Boulevard and Everets Road in Chuckatuck, said city spokeswoman Debbie George.

One person was flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital by helicopter ambulance.

George did not know any further details on the accident by deadline Thursday.
