A woman that was ejected from her vehicle in a Portsmouth Boulevard accident is listed in fair condition Friday morning.

Carnia Riddick was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital via Nightingale helicopter after Thursday’s accident, which occurred about 9:40 p.m. Her four grandchildren, ages 5-11, as well as the driver of the other vehicle, were taken to other hospitals.

The road was closed for about an hour and a half while police cleared the scene.

The accident is still under investigation.
