A dazzling exhibition of waterfowl-based art opens at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts on April 16 at 5:30 p.m.

In partnership with the National Audubon Society, the exhibition will feature fine prints of American master artist John Audubon. Called “the Founding Father of American Art,” Audubon created a massive body of work that included portraits of every bird then known in the United States.

Complementing the extraordinary Audubon images will be the acclaimed waterfowl decoy collection of local collector Tommy O’Connor. Additionally, paintings by acclaimed wildlife artist Paul E. Fisher will be featured.

The Audubon prints and Fisher paintings will be offered for sale, with proceeds from the Audubon works jointly benefiting the National Audubon Society and the Suffolk Center.

The exhibition is free of charge to the public and is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday through May 22.
