The Suffolk police and fire departments are on the scene of a bomb threat at the College Drive Wal-Mart.

Police say a male called the store, in the 6200 block of College Drive, just before 5:30 p.m., according to city spokeswoman Debbie George. The man “said there was a bomb in the building,” George added.

The store evacuated its customers and employees. The fire marshal is in route to the store, George said.
