Two people were ejected from a car in a single-vehicle accident Thursday.

The wreck occurred at 6:57 p.m. on U.S. Route 58 at its intersection with Chappell Drive. Suffolk Police say a Ford Ranger pick-up was traveling westbound when it ran off the road, ejecting two of its three occupants.

The male driver and his two female passengers, ages 18-20, were taken to area hospitals.. All the patients are stable. One lane of Holland Road was closed while officers investigate the cause of the accident, but has now reopened. The cause remains under investigation.
