Suffolk police are investigating two armed robberies that took place Thursday night after the victims were followed home by another vehicle.

The victim in the first robbery, which took place in the 1300 block of Mill Run Court off Wilroy Road at 11:22 p.m., said two black men got out of a vehicle that had followed him home and held him at gunpoint, according to Suffolk spokesperson Diana L. Klink.

The subjects frisked the victim in his front yard, but found he was not carrying any money and fled the scene eastbound on Portsmouth Boulevard in a dark-colored ‘90s-model Honda, Kilnk said in a press release.

One of the suspects was wearing a black hoodie, and the second was wearing a black shirt.

Six minutes later, another driver on his way home was followed by a vehicle in the 300 block of Carriage Court in the Woodlake subdivision, not far from the first incident.

The suspects parked down the street, waited until the victim got out of his car and then ran up to him and took his wallet and cell phone at gunpoint, according to Klink.

They fled in a small car that appeared to be either a Ford Escort or Honda Civic, the victim told police.

He described his attackers as two black males, one wearing a black bandana and a white T-shirt and the second wearing all black. The man with the handgun was described as 6’, well built and 180-200 pounds, with short-shaved hair.
