Sara Cathern Alexander, 59, of Emporia, Va., passed away Aug. 28, 2010.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 with the Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family Monday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
