SUFFOLK — Annie Jane Boothe, 60, of 8504 of Pineview Road, departed this earthly life on Sept. 2, 2010 at MCV Hospital in Richmond, Va. She was a native of Suffolk, Va., born on July 27, 1950 to the late Hurdle B. Williams and Ruth L. Boone.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Linell Langston. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 40 years, William Bernard Boothe; one sister, Glozia Mae Freeman; one stepson, Andre Dent (Cynthia); two nephews, Orlando Langston (Ellen) and Brent Langston (Phyllis); two nieces, Jennifer Freeman-White (Timothy) and Vannetta Chappell (Brian); eight grandchildren, three aunts, three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law and host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, Sept. 6, 2010 at 2 pm. at Palm Tree Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Anthony Sommerville.
