Eastbound lanes on Route 58 were reopened in the area of the Southwest Bypass at about 10:15 a.m. after emergency crews finished cleaning up the scene of an accident, according to a Suffolk spokesperson.

Slight delays were still expected along that stretch until traffic congestion was cleared.
