Chairwoman Lorraine Skeeter defeated Planning Commissioner William Goodman for the Cypress seat on the School Board.

Skeeter was appointed to the School Board in 1993, and has been the chairwoman for the past eight years.

Goodman says he ran for the seat to “offer a different perspective” on the issues facing the School Board.
