Joseph Edward Ford, 68, of Suffolk passed away on Jan. 21, 2011. A native of Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of the late Charles L. Ford and Catherine Truitt Ford. Joseph was a self-employed contractor.

He is survived by his sister, Catherine F. Matthews, of Suffolk, and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
