To the editor:

I am a 63-year-old white male who voted for Barack Obama in 2008 and was planning to vote for him in 2012 until he betrayed the primary reason I voted for him — that being not using the United States military’s human assets in another war.

I believe he has violated his oath of office and the Constitution. I think Articles of Impeachment should be introduced in the House by members of his own party and if approved, then he should be tried in the Senate. If convicted, the United States Secret Service should remove him from office.

It is way past time that the Executive Branch of the U.S. government stops using our military as the world’s police force. The U.S. presidents have been trying to police the world since the end of World War II, and they are wrong.
