Former Lakeland track standout Johniqua Porter is part of an all-freshman 4-by-100 meter relay team which has shaved time off Virginia Union’s program record twice this outdoor track and field season.

The Lady Panthers set a new school record for the second straight weekend, winning at a meet at the University of Richmond in 49.28 seconds on March 26.

Porter teams with freshmen Shadiqua Hunt and G’Ana Robinson, both from Florida, and freshman Tishana Dorn of Maryland.
