Cathy M. Thompson, 53, of 3766 Town Point Road, Portsmouth, Va., died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2011, at Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church, 635 Brook Ave., Suffolk, officiated by Dr. John Jones. The body will be placed in the church at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home, Inc. is handling the arrangements.
