Alvin Lee White, 60, of Suffolk, Va., passed away April 28, 2011.

A funeral service will be held Monday, May 2, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Wilroy Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Hampton officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Friends may join the family for at time of visitation Sunday afternoon from 3 to 4 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Va., and other times at the residence.
