Roy Andrew Murphy, 76, peacefully passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was the son of the late William Andrew and Anquilla Brown Murphy.

The wake will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011, at 7 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 30188 Shiloh Road, Boykins, Va. The funeral celebrating Roy’s life will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at 1 p.m. at East End Church of God, 410 East St., Franklin, Va. Burial will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
