PORTSMOUTH — T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home, Inc. regrets to announce the passing of Ms. Verna “Juanita” Twine on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Aug. 12, from 3 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, Aug. 13 at 1 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
