Charles S. “Buddy” Babb, 60, of Suffolk, Va., passed away Sept. 7, 2011 in his home. He was a loving husband, father and grandpa. He loved hunting, fishing, and above all else his family. He was a firefighter for the city of Suffolk before becoming disabled. He was a former member of Triangle Hunt Club. He was predeceased by his mother, Josephine Babb.

Buddy is survived by his wife of 20 years, Brenda Babb; daughters, Josie Babb and Michelle Warren; sons, Tony Babb and Billy Gay; grandchildren, Jessica Babb, Dustin Wilson and Austin Warren; one great-grandchild, Kylee Grace Wilson; father, Frank Babb; sisters, Carolyn White and husband, Earl, Lisa Pope and husband, Todd; brothers, Edward Babb, Thomas Babb and wife, Judy; a very special cousin, Becky Parker; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

At his request, no memorial service will be held. Family and friends will be received at the home at 318 Westwood Drive from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
