Suffolk police are seeking four suspects in a home invasion robbery that occurred early Monday morning.

The 49-year-old female victim was returning from work to her home in the 200 block of Purple Martin Lane, off Shoulders Hill Road, about 3:30 a.m., city spokeswoman Debbie George said. The victim and her husband own a restaurant in Virginia Beach, George said.

As the woman entered her home through the garage, a black male came up to her, put a gun to her head, led her into the kitchen and demanded money. He eventually took money, jewelry and firearms before fleeing the home.

The victim suffered a cut to her hand during the robbery, George said. Nobody else was in the residence at the time.

Though only one man participated in the robbery, the victim saw four black males running away from the home.
